Medical Educators for Latin America offers travel assistance to in-training volunteers such as medical and nursing students, residents, and fellows who need help with travel expenses. The amount varies each year based on our fundraising efforts. A limited number of grants are available depending on the number of applicants requesting assistance. Please note that the MELA Grant may NOT cover the total cost of your trip.
